Your tasks

As a Criminal Law Specialist (m/f/diverse), you will play a key role in strengthening the global compliance framework, ensuring integrity, trust, and legal certainty across all business areas worldwide.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Criminal Law & Compliance Expertise

• Act as the central expert for all criminal law related matters and advise the business on appropriate responses.
• Continuously develop and improve the global Compliance Management System with a focus on criminal law.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into practical compliance improvements.
• Drive global compliance initiatives, including policies, training, communication, and integrity culture.
• Support continuous compliance risk analysis and early detection mechanisms in close cooperation with relevant functions.
• Build and maintain a strong global compliance network and collaborate closely with the Compliance Central Team.

Compliance Case Management

• Design and operate an effective, independent, and confidential compliance case management system.
• Act as the key driver in assessing, prioritizing, and assigning incoming reports to the appropriate investigators.
• Oversee ongoing investigations and evaluate outcomes and lessons learned.
• Strengthen awareness and trust in the global whistleblowing system through training and communication.
• Prepare case statistics, trend analyses, and management reporting.
• Define and enforce appropriate measures in case of confirmed violations.
• Functionally lead the Compliance Case Management team and coordinate key stakeholders worldwide.

Your profile

• Fully qualified lawyer or legal counsel with relevant professional experience.
• Solid knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Confident user of MS Office; advanced Excel and Power BI skills are a plus.
• Business-fluent German and English, written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
• Independent working style.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong intercultural competence combined with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
