The Chair of Corporate Governance is offering a part-time position as

Student Assistant (m/f/d) starting on 1 October 2026.

The Chair of Corporate Governance at the Mannheim Business School is

looking for a student assistant from October 2026 or by arrangement. The

position comprises 28 hours per month and limited to 6 months with

possibility to extension.

As a student research assistant at the Chair of Corporate Governance you will

have the opportunity to gain insights into several interesting research projects

in the fields of corporate governance, corporate finance, financial literacy and

gender differences in financial markets. We offer a diverse range of tasks and

insights into teaching and research activities.

Your tasks include:

In this position, you will support ongoing research projects at our chair. In

particular, you will be involved in literature research, the collection and

preparation of data, the preparation of manuscripts and presentations as well

as administrative tasks.

Your profile:

In addition to a very good to good academic performance, we expect an

interest in our research projects (sustainable corporate governance, fintech

developments, and gender differences in financial markets, etc.) and a good

knowledge of MS-Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Stata or other

statistical programs. The willingness to acquire such knowledge during

working hours would be important.
